Date: 16 AUG 2024 (Friday)
Time: 15:00-15:15 (HKT)

Abstract:
The field of food environment research remains unfamiliar to many researchers, particularly in China, and is still in its early stages of development. In this talk, I will provide an overview of the historical development of food environment research, the objectives and significance of studying the food environment, the current challenges in food environment research, and how these challenges prompt us to reconsider how we define and conceptualize the food environment. By exploring these issues, we can gain a deeper understanding of the complex and interrelated components of the food environment and its potential to inform more effective public health policies.
